Welcome to West Haddon Photo Club

Prints mounted on panels inside All Saints' church in West Haddon.

West Haddon Photo Club is for anyone who enjoys photography.

You're welcome, no matter what camera you use - and if you want to improve your skills we'll be happy to offer help and encouragement.

We meet regularly to show and talk about our images and would love to see yours and learn from your photographic experiences.

Come along to a couple of our Show and Tell meetings for a taster - there's no obligation, but there is tea, coffee and biscuits.

As well as monthly (apart from August) Show and Tell meetings when members show images on that month's theme the club also has:

  • Knowledge nights - include tuition sessions or talks from experienced photographers from outside the club;
  • Photoshoots - outings to photogenic locations;
  • Click and Natter - an informal gettogether over coffee to chat about photography or other topics.
  • Photo Show - our key annual public event where anyone can submit their prints or digital images for exhibition over a weekend.

Details of these meetings can be found on the Programme page.

We are a photo club not a camera club - for us the photo is what matters, not what camera was used to take it. Our members use a range of equipment for their photography, increasingly using mobile phones which reflect how versatile these devices are.

WHPC does not have competitions when a judge critiques your photos, as we believe this can be demotivating.

If you’re interested in joining please see our Membership page for more details or drop us an email to info@whphoto.club. If you prefer not to become a member you can still come to our Show and Tell meetings for just £3 each meeting to cover refreshment costs and the cost of hiring the hall. You may also come along to our talks for £5 per meeting.

If you'd like to be invited to our forthcoming events, please add your name and email address below and we'll add you to our mailing list.
